Licence scope in the NCA's words
A Tier 2 licence authorises the provision of managed SOC services to any organisation other than government entities and organisations that own, operate or host critical national infrastructure.
What the licence means for our clients
The licensing framework places specific obligations on licensed providers. What that means for you:
Around-the-clock operation from Riyadh, all year
Our SOC operates from Riyadh around the clock, every day of the week and throughout the year, public holidays included.
Monitoring data stays in the Kingdom
Your monitoring data is kept inside Saudi Arabia, as the licensing framework requires.
Connection to the national SOC
Our SOC is connected to the national cybersecurity operations centre, as the licensing framework requires.
Qualified Saudi analysts
The SOC is staffed by Saudi analysts qualified to the requirements of the National Cybersecurity Authority.
Log retention
We retain monitoring logs for the period the licensing framework sets, so they remain available for reference throughout that period.
Advance notice before any service discontinuation
The licensing framework obliges the provider to notify its clients in advance of any service discontinuation, within the periods and procedures the framework sets.
How to verify the licence
The National Cybersecurity Authority publishes the list of licensed managed SOC service providers on its website. Look for "Data Security for Cyber Security" under Tier 2.
Why licensing matters when choosing a SOC provider
Since 2022 the national framework requires managed SOC providers to be registered and licensed. A licensed provider is bound by mandatory requirements on people, facilities, data and connectivity, and its status can be checked publicly.
Other credentials
Other credentials are published once their verification details are complete.
The details above are transcribed from the official licence certificate. The NCA logo is not used on this website; verification is done on the NCA website directly.
