Detect & respond

Network Operations Center (NOC)A network watched continuously, faults handled before users notice

We monitor your network, servers and links from an operations centre in Riyadh, and handle faults under written procedures and clear escalation.

Deliverables

  • Monitored asset inventory and dependency map
  • Fault runbooks and escalation matrix
  • Availability and performance dashboard
  • Monthly availability, incident and capacity report
  • Device configuration backups

The challenge

The NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC) tie cybersecurity to business continuity, and ISO 22301 requires a documented ability to detect and recover from disruption. A network nobody watches after hours is a gap in both.

Most outages start as small signals: a flapping link, a filling disk, an expiring certificate, an overheating device. Small IT teams have no time to chase those signals, so faults reach users first.

A NOC gives you a constant eye on the infrastructure, a documented action for each fault type, and reports that show management where problems recur and why.

How we work

  1. 1

    Discovery and onboarding

We inventory devices, links and critical services, connect them to the monitoring platform via SNMP, NetFlow and vendor APIs, and set thresholds and service priorities.

  2. 2

    Monitor and resolve

Operators track alerts, resolve first-line faults from runbooks, and escalate anything beyond their authority to your teams or vendors with a documented ticket.

  3. 3

    Report and improve

Periodic availability, performance and recurring-fault reports, with a review session to adjust thresholds, update procedures and fix structural gaps.

What is included

  • Availability and performance monitoring

Monitoring of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, links and SD-WAN, with latency and packet-loss measurement.

  • Server and storage monitoring

Tracking of physical and virtual servers, HCI environments, storage capacity, backup jobs, temperature and power.

  • Incident and ticket management

Fault classification and logging in a ticketing system integrated with yours, under an agreed escalation matrix.

  • Vendor coordination

Raising and chasing cases with telecom providers and manufacturers through to closure.

  • Change and configuration management

Device configuration backups, detection of unauthorised changes and execution of changes within approved windows.

  • SOC integration

Forwarding network logs into Splunk or your existing SIEM, and exchanging alerts with our managed SOC.

  • Dashboards

Live dashboards for service, link and capacity status, with access for your teams and management.

Frameworks and regulations

We align the service with the frameworks your organisation is subject to.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a NOC and a SOC?

The NOC is about availability and performance; the SOC is about threats. We run both in an integrated way, since an outage can be a symptom of an attack and vice versa.

Do we need to replace our current monitoring tools?

No. We work with your existing tools where they do the job, and suggest a different platform only where there is a documented coverage gap.

Who makes changes on the devices?

As agreed in the authority matrix. We can be limited to monitoring and escalation, or carry out changes within approved change windows.

How are service levels measured?

Indicators are agreed in the contract, such as availability ratios and ticket response by priority, measured from the platform and shown in the periodic report. We do not publish generic numbers because every environment differs.

What affects the cost of a managed NOC?

The number of devices, links, sites and services monitored, and the monitoring hours agreed. Cost also depends on whether we only monitor and escalate or also resolve faults and carry out changes, on integration with your ticketing system, and on how many vendors and telecom providers we coordinate with. We set this out in a written proposal after discovery.

What do we need to provide to start?

An inventory of devices, links and critical services, current network diagrams, and read-only monitoring access such as SNMP credentials or vendor API keys. We also need your service priorities, support contracts with vendors and telecom providers, and named escalation contacts on your side.

Is the managed NOC available to government entities?

No. As with our managed SOC and MDR, the managed NOC is not offered to government entities or to organisations that own, operate or host critical national infrastructure. For those organisations we provide compliance assessment, advisory, testing and solutions instead.
